Jack heard something. A roar of some kind. Gradien's sleek white fur stood on end. "Panserbjourn..." He growled. "I thourght they lived at Slvalbard!" Jack cried at Gradien. "So did I..." Jack looked out the window. There was a panserbjourn... In Oxford."

Fridas lifted his snout a roared. The soldiers below him pelted him with bullets. He pounced on one and bit off his head. He swung at another with his razor sharp claws. When all but one, the obvious leader, were dead he bounded up to him. He picked the leader up in his paws. "Where is my armour?"

Her daemon's desperate calls, frightened her. She had to go to Oxford. Riv couldn't die, because if they died, they would never see each other again.

Missi was lost in her thoughts until her daemon took the shape of a large tiger, what he usually didn't do. Danger! The only thing she knew was that there was a panserbjorn in Oxford. Nothing else.

When Lilly's mother had left, Al looked at everyone. Then, she said: "I'm going. Someone maybe needs help, and I'm not staying here knowing people are risking their lives." She was determind, and nothing would make her change her mind now.
