Yes. As you know... I am a newbie to all of this God stuff, so can you explain what things they are limited to, eg, what they can do in general?

Pretty much anything they like =D

The council members are more powerful then non-council members, which is obvious considering they can create worlds and races. Uhm they can also kinda control what they are god of. So beranabus can melt away into shadows and reappear in another shadow. Nargui (God of trees) can make trees move and attack people. It's up to you what Subanareb can do =D

Uhm, Subanareb hears news of Beranabus' plan to turn all the worlds into enternal darkness, and none of the other gods are brave enough to stand up to him. So Subanareb must summon his armies to try and stop Beranabus.
